CIS Line Scan Camera GigE Interface
Contact Image Sensors (CIS) consist of a linear array of CMOS image sensors (monochrome or colour) of varying widths to cover the field of view. CIS modules include an integrated LED light source (UV, visible, NIR or a combination), which reflects off the scanned object surface and is focused onto the CMOS image sensor element through a self focusing linear lens.
Compared to conventional line scan camera systems, CIS modules offer improved image quality (1:1) with no distortion and a short working distance. The compact space efficient units with internal light source provide a single scanning width from 18 ~ 6000mm* making them ideal for integration into machine vision systems and applications including; web inspection, surface inspection, printing inspection, film inspection, PCB inspection, textile inspection and glass panel inspection.
